What is affiliate marketing?
Affiliate marketing is a business model, whereby you as an affiliate marketer promote a product or service to a specific audience and when your audience buys this product or services you earn a commission.
How do I get paid with affiliate marketing?
As an affiliate, you will be provided with a unique link connected to the product or services you would like to promote by the affiliate platform or owner of products or services. So when you promote and a customer click on your unique link to purchase the product you get paid a certain percentage of commission.
Example if you are an affiliate promoting a pair of sneakers worth $200 from Amazon, and it offers its affiliate 20% commission per pair sold. Hence, you will be making 20% of $200 = $40 commission as simple as that.
Affiliate marketing is an excellent opportunity if you truly believe in the value of the products you’re promoting. Because many times, you can make money off something you would probably just recommend anyways.

The offer here refers to the product or services you will be promoting.
When looking to venture into affiliate marking, you need not just to promote random products out there. You need a product that is popular, high converting and has a Buzz
It needs to be a product that is appealing to the audience in your niche market (the product that is capable of solving their problems)
Let’s Talk Traffic
What I mean by traffic here is the people we get to the offer we are promoting.
The traffic needs to be targeted.
This is because it is not everyone that will buy the product or services you need to promote. It has to be put in front of the right audience.
Imagine presenting a lion the most NOURISHING FRUIT, It will spit it out because it isn’t a Herbivore. But give the same lion a fat BUFFALO, it will happily chow it because it is a CARNIVORE.
Organic vs Paid Traffic
Organic traffic is actually the best way to drive traffic, especially for beginners who don’t have much budget to go for paid ads.
Paid traffic on the other hand is where you paid for advertising in platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Google & YouTube

This where you check the traffic you have sent to your affiliate product how it is going.
The formula for a better conversion is:
